Full Circle

it's december's end again, the wash-faded cloudy period between christmas and the new year where time stands still a little longer than usual, and the rain puddles directs you to reflect a little bit deeper, a little more than usual; that time of the year where dreamers wake up for water and a smoke, melancholy junkies chin up and sober up over coffee, and sunny hippies anticipate the possibilities of change with their glasses of poison. it's been a learning year, a mix of extremes, a crashcourse on crashing and coasting and crashing again. i've never risked so much by choice, like i did this year. jumped in and out of many bonfires, decisions, (sacrifices?), mistakes, burnt some bridges, built new forts...it's a beautiful thing really. really. life is for the living and to live is to learn, i've got some explaining to do at the pearly gates eventually, but dont we all?

least christmas was peaceful this year. found myself, for awhile. been learning to really appreciate this journey. the trip. (it's okay if you dont get it), 2010 will be willed. time to grow some more perhaps? maybe i'll run out of excuses and chase enough time to do just that next year. maybe i'll prove everyone wrong, or maybe i'll prove everyone right. who knows, lady time's got lotsa toys under her blanket...hopefully mine matches up. this one's for 09, the sweet, the sour, the aftertaste of lollipops and
the people that made it all magic....cheers. we'll remember these days.

PS - hyfeeness Cassy Faith Hwang, come home sooner or we're going L.A, you'll be missed girl.. :) blesses from PJ.
